In 1966 the local fraternity at Newberry College called Kappa Phi became the Delta Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order. Fifty years ago it all began and gave each one of you the opportunity to become KA’s. Let’s get together and celebrate. Come join your Brothers.
Gathering begins at 5 pm. until 9pm. or whenever! All KA Brothers initiated at Newberry College and former Roses are invited.
“Traditional KA Attire” – Starched Kakis and starched button up shirts….and penny loafers. No fines for no socks! It’s April in South Carolina, Blazer is optional.
Food: Again this year KA Alumnus John Miller will be catering with heavy finger food.
Entertainment: We are honored to have KA Alumnus Tommy Hamrick to spin those vinyls. Tommy is a Beach Music Hall of Fame Disc Jockey. Don’t get any better than that!
COST: $100 per couple.
We really need to know how many to plan for, so please consider and send your payment/reservation in to: DE Alumni Association, 1532 Harrington St. Newberry, S. C. 29108. We don’t want anyone to be disappointed, but we can only prepare enough food for those who have made advance payment.
